Yooouuuu are getting verrrrrrry sleeeeeepyyyyy...
The mobile Margaret gave to Aiden has not held much interest for him, until now. This week, Aiden finally discovered the interesting, high-contrast shapes that float above his bed. At one point, I actually had to take the mobile down so he'd close his eyes and go to sleep or else he'd have stared until his eyeballs dried up.
Someday he'll thank me for saving his eyeballs.

He's no player hater.
Click here for the soundtrack to this picture. Here's Aiden layin' down the funky fresh beats. He says thanks to his homies in Germany for the fly hoodie, yo.

Hip hop baby
Yo, dog, what's up! That's a jaunty hat, eh? I think that Christine would, in a way, be happy if it were winter so Aiden could wear hats all the time.

End of obsession.
The new belly button arrived this week. After installation, it was as if the old, rotted stump had never been there. *Sigh*

The boy knows how to nap!
Here's our boy Aiden, enjoying some tummy time. Does this look comfortable to you? Well, it was to him...he slept this way for at least an hour.

duck duck duck duck
Here is Aiden relaxing with some friends after a very long day. At just 4 weeks old, Aiden had his first day in class (infant massage class). He also watched his Mommy go ice skating...

Psychotherapist's second boat payment
Christine here. I am sure Dave doesn't mind me posting this photo. Dave pinched Aiden's arm in the buckle of his baby seat. Aiden is very easy going though. He only cried for 10 seconds...but it was loud enough to wake me up from my nap.

Scratchy love.
Aiden really loves getting kissed. That's a grin of pure delight if I ever saw one. Don't worry, Aiden. There's more where that came from.

The certain knot of peace
My friend Margaret gave Aiden this mobile. If Aiden was awake, I'm sure he'd be enjoying it in this picture.

In his office.
Of all the expensive places we've purchased for Aiden to sit and relax, he seems to enjoy his changing pad the best. Which, if you think about it, is just like an Etler.

Laugh it up.
Here's Christine and Aiden sharing a laugh about one of life's absurdities. Most likely, it has something to do with breast milk, or poop.

The non-scary cord.
There's still a little bit of cord left. But it looks healthier and is less smelly today. The pediatrician will do something about it if it is still there in two weeks.

2 week checkup
Aiden went to the pediatrician yesterday. At 16 days old, Aiden weighed 10.05 lbs (83%ile), and was 22.34 in long (93%ile). He gained 1.91 lbs in 12 days! Also, they decided they must have measured his height wrong last time. If they didn't, then he shrunk almost a half an inch.
