Guess he likes seafood

Yesterday marked a momentous occasion. Okay, in the grand scheme of things, I guess it was just an occasion, but we thought it was pretty cool. Aizay said his first word: "fish". He said it during his research appointment, and they video everything. They gave us a DVD of it, from which we ripped the audio. Listen for it at 13 seconds.

Judging by his reaction to our reaction, he'll probably never say "fish" again.

Here's a transcript:

Britton (researcher): Would you like to check out that fish? Here you go! Good choice! I like that fish a lot!

Aizay: Fish

[2 second pause, as Christine, Dave and Britton look at each other as if to say, "Did you hear that?", then everyone bursts into loud laughter and riotous clapping]

Aizay: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Sorry, Brittan, for spelling your name wrong.

To make up for it, you can call me Dayve.

Brilliant, just brilliant....and so fluent already....so a marine biologist is in the making....well maybe he was but I think you three scared that career right out of the poor little guy...
I was a proud moment, wasn't it...

Update: he has said "fish" again while watching a kid's video in which fish were highlighted. I guess he wasn't too traumatized...He is more likely to say "bish" however. He says it a lot while he is babbling. I try not to let it offend me.
