The creation of art must involve suffering

Artist Aizay is working on yet another in his series of installations focusing on the difficulties of everyday life. This one, entitled "Frustration and Tears", is built from various objects of importance to the artist, including a gift bag, a potty seat, wooden train tracks, a shoe (an omnipresent feature of Aizay's work), a birthday card, and a bowl, all atop an inverted square of tissue paper. To highlight the verity of the piece, the items were intentionally assembled and disassembled (or allowed to fall from chairs and tables accompanied by wails of dismay) before being placed in their final arrangement.
