"Dats a aitch!"

Aizay is learning his letters. He can identify A, C, G, H, Y, and O more or less accurately. He's now learning B. He's been watching the DVD of They Might Be Giants' "Here Come the ABCs" pretty much since birth, and has always been instantly engrossed by it in a way no other show does. See below for a hard-to-understand audio demonstration of Aizay's letter-identification prowess. Note that he often appears to use pronouns and articles, as in "That's a 'H'!"

Will he be a professional speller? A typesetter? A font designer? An author? Time will tell.

In the background of this photo, you can see the fruits of our recent remodelling. In order to ensure a good learning environment with minimal distractions and maximize our daily 2-hour academic lessons, we have constructed a sterile, soundproof room called "the white room". ...we're hoping it will increase the resale value of our home.
