...this would be all over the media. Sunday morning I woke up before Aizay. I went downstairs and went online. I paid bills, surfed the internet, and shopped. Time flew by. Every once in a while I thought about Aizay and Dave. "Hhhhm, Aizay is sleeping late." Then, "Dave must have gotten Aizay up". And finally, "I don't hear anything upstairs." I went upstairs to investigate. Dave and Aizay were nowhere to be found. It was 3 hours after he usually wakes up, and Aizay was still asleep. I looked in on him and he was asleep in a pile of vomitus. I picked him up and seemingly to punish me, he vomited on me. Here he is after vomiting 3 times and prior to the final 2 vomits and subsequent diarrhea. Notice our vomit receptor (tupperware).

Run for your lives!

A capricious god, Aizay stares down at his creation (okay, the capricious god's father's creation), thinking of the destruction he will rain down upon the tiny mortals next. "Perhaps," he muses, "I will sit on them. Behold my comparatively massive buttocks--the buttocks of your god! They are the last you shall ever see!"
Our diminutive deity is making progress, though. These days he doesn't immediately tear his worlds apart to carry the pieces around his universe, dropping them as he goes and laughing with glee as his parents trip over them.
Rather, he quietly steps all over them as he moves from spot to spot, speaking in a language that might be Swahili or Tagalog with the occasional English word thrown in, only dismantling the pieces by accidentally tripping rather ungod-like over them or to get at a car that's become trapped in a tunnel.

He might meet his future bride at one of these things.
Christine's brother George got married this past week. Aizay didn't go to the service, but he did crash the reception.
"Why, hello, ladies. Can I get any of you fine women some milk? Apple juice? Courvoisier?"
Aizay hestitantly cuts a rug with Aunts Betty and Joan.
The boy's got rythm, I'll give him that.
This little girl might just be...the one. Aizay was in love. Whenever they got separated, he'd run back to her with open arms, his way of asking her to dance with him. Little smoothie.

Cousins
The Iowa Etlers travelled back east this past week to visit their families. Aizay got to see his cousins Jeremy and Jonah who seemed to think he was just as good as Nintendo.
Aizay and Jeremy pause to wonder why Grandpa is always staring up into trees exclaiming, "Ooooh, look at that!"
Aizay is getting a glimpse of his future.
Jeremy and Jonah are teaching Aizay about how danger is fun.

doing his part...
...by putting headphones on top of his head.
"The year has been a good one for the Society. This year our members have put more things on top of other things than ever before. But, I should warn you, this is no time for complacency. No, there are still many things, and I cannot emphasize this too strongly, not on top of other things."
hint: read his t-shirt
