I guess he learned his lesson but it wasn't the lesson I was trying to teach him
The other day, Aizay was resisting a time-out he got for repeatedly trying to walk on me and step on my legs and belly. He finally settled down and accepted his fate. After sitting quietly in his chair for a minute, he said sadly, "I have to hold my horses."

Man alive!
Aizay's helping put our lives back together after the devastating winter storms that recently battered our viewing area. These sticks, which Aizay is piling up here one or two at a time, eventually accumulated a staggering one foot high pile. When asked for comment, Governor Chet Culver shook his head mournfully, saying, "The Etler's ordeal highlights the need for the state of emergency that I declared. My only regret is that it caused this poor boy's grandmother to worry, but it was done out of an abundance of caution." Aizay's father David, directing his son's labors from the now dangerously warm and dry front porch, sighed, "We'll never forget this storm." He sipped his mohito thoughtfully before adding, "Not ever."
