M is for Milk

Mommy's at a meeting, so the boys are eatin' out tonight. One thing I've realized about eating out with a two year old: the only reason to order one a meal is to avoid being looked down upon by passersby. It's not like the kid's gonna actually eat the food.

We ran into some co-workers, and they exclaimed how good Aizay was being. They sat down in a booth behind us, where they got a good view of him yelling, "NO, I don't like french fries!" When I tried to eat one of his hated fries, he yelled, "NO, don't eat my french fries!" One of my co-workers said, "Oh, that's more like it."

Aizay's embarressed by his mother's behavior. But it's only fair, because he embarrasses us all the time. Such as when he thows a tantrum at the ice cream shop, screaming to the world that he doesn't like ice cream because he's afraid he'll have to go to the dentist.

Terrible Twos

Now that Aizay is 6 weeks away from turning 3, he is finally acting like a two-year old. I have no patience for him lately. He is whiney, obstinate, contrary and completely irrational. I am posting this because it just occurred to me that I, personally, haven't taken a picture of him in about two weeks. I will have to get Dave to post a nice charming story with an accompanying picture because I got nothing...
